Synthetic Stars
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Synthetic Stars is a conceptual project designed for an art event that harmonizes futuristic innovation with a touch of nostalgia. This exhibition is inspired by the enigmatic beauty of marine life, particularly focusing on the ocean's delicate balance between the organic and the synthetic.
To visually convey this theme, I crafted a 3D model of a metal starfish, serving as the centerpiece of the poster. The starfish is symbolic, merging the natural elegance of marine creatures with the sleek, industrial qualities of synthetic materials. designed and rendered this model using Blender, ensuring that it embodies the duality of organic life and technological advancement.
In addition to the starfish, I incorporated graphic elements that evoke the fluidity and depth of the ocean, tying the theme back to its marine roots. For the typography, I chose a clean, modern typeface that complements the minimalistic layout, reinforcing the futuristic aesthetic. The overall design is sleek and streamlined, with a layout that prioritizes clarity and visual impact.
To introduce a layer of nostalgia, I added subtle noise to the poster, creating a vintage texture that contrasts with the otherwise modern design. This blend of old and new reflects the exhibition's theme of bridging the past with the future
